NAFDMA's Farmers' Market Coalition in partnership with the New Hampshire
Association of Farmers' Markets, UNH Cooperative Extension, UNH Office of
Sustainability Programs and USDA Agricultural Marketing Service present:

2005 New England Farmers Market Coalition meeting and workshop
Friday, November 4th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and all day Saturday November
5th 2005
Cole Hall, University of New Hampshire, Durham

Friday will be devoted to skills building workshops for farmers' market
professionals and supporters, with workshops on marketing and signage for
more profitable markets; food safety and food handling; business planning
and plenty of time for networking.

Saturday events will be started by New Hampshire Commissioner of Agriculture
Steve Taylor followed by a full day of workshops on topics ranging from
liability insurance, Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) also known as Food
Stamps, Boards of Director development, fundraising, marketing, zoning,
education of policy makers and other issues pertinent to New England.

Who should attend?
State association members/ potential members; farmers' market managers;
markets' board of directors/committee members; market vendors; interested
community people who want to start markets; educators.

Registration cost, including Saturday lunch, will be $45. If you will be
attending the Friday session please add an additional $15 charge for dinner
on Friday evening.
