If you use the wheelbarrow in places
where the tires are not likely to get
punctured, try using a pneumatic tire
(with tube) instead of a semi-pneumatic
or solid tire.

Solid tires are great on construction sites
where nails and things that puncture tires are
common and flats occur daily. But they
are HEAVY and if you are pushing the
barrow around a lot, they accelerate
getting tired.

Also, when driving over uneven surfaces
solid tires have no bounce. All shocks
taken by the barrow are transmitted to
your hands.

You should be able to get a solid tire
and wheel assembly from the same
place you get other replacements.

Cost is double to triple that of a
semi-pnuematic.
