If you thoroughly read the cited site, you know MORE than I.

But, I would presume/guess that you could get first year berries if you
planted plants. I don't even know if roots are available for those
varieties. I imagine that Jim Cox
(http://austinfarm.org/homegrown/hortsuppliers.html) can either sell
you those or put you on to someone who can.
