I need to reduce the pH of promix for some of the woodland species of plants that I want to grow this year. It is my understanding that there is a buffering agent for maintaining the pH in the promix. I am looking for a product that I can add to the media to reduce the pH and keep it lower consistently. Could any of you folks give me direction regarding this matter?
It helps to say whether you are organic or not, but, most likely you've already said that. Check directly with the ProMix people. I've found them to be very interested in getting their product to do what you need it to do.
