Sandie (or others)

Just what is 'SHARP' sand?

Tom

Hi Tom, I think it is also called contractors sand. From what I've been told it has a diffrent shape then like beach sand. So it dosen't pack (like clay) and holds it's shape to allow better watre and air flow in the soil. I use to get one truck load a year when I had clay garden soil, At $80.00 a load I only mixed it with the soil in the transplant wholes.
I'm no expert but from my experiance it made a big differance. Sandie OR.
