Last year in mid to late June we had some pretty heavy rains in which
caused blights on our tomatoes soon afterwards. This year we are getting
our rains early (it will be about a week until we can cultivate again it's
so soggy out there). I am wondering if I should start spraying copper on
our plants now or wait. Most of the plants have been in the ground for only
a week or so.. Any other Certifiable Organic options for blight in tomatoes
and potatoes? I did hear on person say that they are doing successive
plantings of their tomatoes so we do have plants that will go in at a later
time. However, I wonder if this plan would actually even work since the
disease is in the soil.
