Marlins posting about the fellow who uses sugar reminds me of a
grower my father-in-law use to know back years ago. This fella always
put sugar in his melon hills. Said it made them the sweetest melons in the
county. Charlie (Alison's dad) then asked him what his sweet corn tasted
like, seeing as how he fertilized with cow manure.
