This weekend, I will plant the first of 350 pounds of seed potatoes (lots for me). I was going to use Vernon (Verlin -oops I forgot which) Rocky's method of dividing a 4' row with 2 hills and a furrow down the middle with drip, potatoes planted 6" down, and mulch on the top. Any feedback? Has anybody grown potatoes this way before? Pros or cons? I am concerned about an all mulch system here because of strong winds. Thanks in advance.
