Hi all,
I was just checking out the no-till cover crops article at www.newfarm.org
and I found a link to an ATTRA article,
www.attra.org/attra-pub/organicmatters/conservationtillage.html. And in
that article I found a little blurb about planting potatoes and tomatoes
into a hairy vetch mulch that had been roll-killed. Apparently the article
says that the decaying hairy vetch repels my worst garden enemy. Hurrah!!
Hurrah!!
