Yes, thank you for giving us that web site. I have recently moved into a hundred-year-old farm house and although everything "works", I have already started making plans for improvements. Even here in south central Minnesota, geothermal makes too much sense to ignore. If I had to start from scratch, I would build underground. Even here, the temperature just six feet down is 45 degrees. That's a big difference from the 20 below we experience each winter. I have looked at possibly installing a wood burning furnace, but I do not have a woodlot and I would have to use quite a bit of gas to get the wood here.
