If you are considering buying castings to improve
your growing and eventual profit, ask yourself this: Why can't I grow my own
castings so I don't have to be dependent on someone else for my "worm gold"? By
perchasing starter colonies of worms from these same worm farmers who grew them
to sell back to the distributor company, and are now looking for a market for
these worms, you can produce all the castings you want. These farmers were
selling the worms back to the distributor for up to $9. a pound. If you have a
source of food available e.g. compost, manure, garden overflow you can produce
not only castings but the richest compost you have ever seen. And you don't even
have to grow them in boxes, you can sheet compost grow them as well. Many of
these worm farmers are looking to get out of the business so you can help them
and help yourself at the same time. It is not difficult to grow worms. Maximize
your profit!
Thanks & Blessings!
