We would give a strong recommendation for the Wiediger workshop. We
attended two years ago as new market farmers and found it very
informative even though we waited a year to build the hoophouse. It was
worth it just for the planting, growing, irrigation tips. And when we
put up the hoophouse last year, the workshop definitely paid for itself.
It's a great farmer-run hands-on experience- lots of what has worked
and hasn't worked. Much better than your usual lecture workshop and a
great way to see if hoophouses are for you.
