Is there any chance you could share your plan for the 25cents per square foot hoophouse?

We are doing late fall shares (the season ends a week before winter so I
don't call them winter shares). My husband developed a really cheap
(about 25ยข per square foot) hoophouse that is wind proof to 80 MPH and
very movable. We put up 3 of them and decided that they could grow
enough food for 8 to 10 shares from late October to late December. So we
have a house full of tomatoes, one full of peppers (which should be
killed tonight of tomorrow and than the house will be moved to a bed a
salad mix or kale) and a small one full of Diva cukes (these were
horrible out in the field but great in a greenhouse) and we still have
material to put up 2 more of these things.
Our normal growing season goes from early April/late March until mid
November usually. In the past we would do 20 to 22 week CSA season but
have changed that and now offer 4 10 week sessions (share cycles is what
I am calling each segment) in an attempt to get more members. We serve
two college towns and the 20/22 week season going through summer when
everyone is on vacation or doing research wasn't working. Now we will be
offering 3 cycles during the school year and one during the summer when
school is out. And we have scheduled a 14 day vacation period in August
(I find this to be the most exciting part, personally).
This fall session is the first time we have tried these more numerous
but shorter shares and we sold out in a few days. I have great hopes for
this scheme.
