Could a grower install a hydronic heating system in the floor of a tunnel? A hydronic system forces heated water through a tubing system buried in the floor, heating the floor.
I believe the University of BC used this method in combination with solar panels and a covered rock floor - energy from solar panels were used to create heat that was in turn captured by the rocks - heat would release throughout the night. Jacqueline
