Sorry to hear of your losses. We too are in
the midst of a similar problem, although not quite the same extent. Nine
of eleven pear trees have extensive damage, entire vineyard is pretty sad, and
the tomatoes that got it are managing to grow out.
As it seems clear just where the damage
(2-4-D) came from, I contacted the extension agent, the Ohio Dept. of Ag., my
tree fruit crop scout, and the farmer. He contacted
his insurance agent and an adjuster has come out.
2-4-D will volatize over time and travel quite a
distance.
There should be someone you can contact.
Take pictures, make calls, possibly take tissue samples (and freeze them),
and keep a diary.
