Title: RE: [market-farming] Re: market-farming Cabbage Worms

Hi Dori, I'm intrigued regarding your "salted water" method; may I please have your "recipe"? And directions for application too, please.. Thanks, Tracy

I use floating row covers, chickens, and hand picking.  I also wash ALL of
my susceptible crops in _salted_ water.  It makes the little stinkers drop
right off.  I toss the water and drowned worms to the chickens, who will run
right under the deluge.

Last year a customer accused me of lying about my organic growing methods
because she hadn't found a single worm in my brassicas all season.

Go please the world.
