I have some areas in my 1 acre garden which are coarse grass- Harding
grass, which gets about 3 feet tall, and then goes to seed. It's very
vigorous and hard to control, and I'm sick of spending so much time
mowing & weed-eating. Anybody have ideas on a permanent cover crop which
would out compete the Harding grass, not encourage gophers or wireworms,
and which wouldn't require mowing or much water in summer? Thanks- Peter
