Hi list, I was beginning to wonder about the lack of volume. I just
switched to digest mode and one day there was only one message! But I too
have been busy. My friend and her daughter from the west coast my son and I
have been touring nearby colleges. So far her favorite Boston College my
son "I dun no" :)
Rocks, we got tons, in an area we are planting we prepare the soil and cart
away the rocks in the way, sometimes they have to be dug out. We do have
beautiful antique stone walls all around the property including the woods.
There is a market for rocks with stone masons. We bartered a bit of stone
and firewood for a mason to build a wall. He still purchases rocks from us
from time to time. Once one of his clients came to pick out his own rock,
then my husband delivered it I think the price was about $250. Rock large
not huge. Picked up with a smallish tractor bucket.
Sheep name if you are going presidential, how about Martha (you've got
George) or I suppose Virginia George's birth place.
Seed starting in fustrastion last year to find affordable organic approved
potting soil. I simply started seeds (that will be transplanted up) in
plain vermiculite. Then I made a casual(didn't measure) potting soil of
organic purchased potting soil, and sifted compost. Above all worked fine.
