Last year I grew dali as the mid east zuke.


Are you sure Johnny's had dali? I only see magda in their catalogue.
Several years ago Johnny's sold something called Zahla, or something
like that, which we were in love with. The magda, which replaced it,
did not seem to be as robust a plant and we were not as happy with
the taste of the fruit. Of course they could have been the same
thing with different names and our memory about the quality is
faulty, but.....
I see the Dali in Pinetree's catalogue. Anyone have any other
sources for mid-east squash seed. We love the taste, though its
absolutely true that the skin is thin and easily marred. Not a good
shipper.
