Is it my imagination, or has there recently been an increase in
attacked on organic farming? Here's an example:
http://www.enterstageright.com/0600organic.htm
It charges that organic farming contributes to soil erosion, it
claims that it is only "half as productive" as non-organic
farming, and would require "millions of acres of wildlife
habitat" if all farmers switched to organic methods, and it
quotes a U of Georgia study claiming that organic lettuce had 100
times the e coli bacteria as non-organic produce.
Anyone know of a good site debunking this kind of propaganda?
