TRANSITIONING TO ORGANIC PRACTICES
Commercial Scale Vegetables & Grains Workshop

An all-day workshop on how to transition from conventional farming
practices to organic farming practices is being held on March 22 at the
New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY from 9 AM
to 5:30 PM. The conference is designed by farmers for farmers, and is
intended to give practical farm-based information. The workshop is
co-sponsored by New York Certified Organic (NY OCIA), the Northeast
Organic Farming Association of New York and the Cornell Agriculture and
Food Systems Sustainablility Workgroup and is designed for
commercial-scale grain and vegetable growers.
