I have never had any luck with baby's breath. I don't know why. Mostly
it won't sprout at all when I try to start it, and if it does, it dies
in the garden for no apparent reason. I've tried it at several
different locations (in widely separated states) and it just . . .
DIES. I can only describe it as "failure to thrive".
Is there something special that BB needs to germinate and grow? Other
perennials do fine, carnations, daisies, etc. But not BB, not for me.
