EXCUSE ME???? I'm replying to the list since you chose to attack me
for my doing something that affected the whole list. I assume you
mean my response to a poster about unsubscribing?? (You didn't have
the decency to let me know if this is indeed your "complaint" or which
unsubscriber-I get 300-400 emails a day, so I'm not going to bother
trying to recall which.)

I stand by my post & do not apologize for asking unsubscribers to
follow list procedure. Letting everyone know you're unsubscribing is
like a complaint on a product-makes others not want to buy it. After
too many unsub posts, I had read enough to think we needed to move on
& all subscribers needed to know this. I was insulted that our
enthusiastic postings were considered a novelty-once again, if this in
fact the post to which you refer. Farming is not a novelty, nor is
continuing one's education in their profession a novelty.

My posts are intended to inform & enlighten & share, my obligation as
a subscriber-contributions keep the list vital. If you think they're
cute, so be it. I can't hide my personality.

(Note: I had the decency to hide your identity. Is this enough
self-restraint for you?)

>From now on, consider me a delete key on your board. It's that easy.
BTW, I had several subscribers thank me for posting that response.
They were too shy, or too nice. Apparently, something which you think
I am lacking, for which I do not care.

I hate sending this out to everyone, but I wanted everyone to
understand why I did not do it privately.

Liz
