This is a bit different. And disturbing.

The human consciousness is becoming more and more aware that everything in
the current political, social, economical and food system is rigged,
manipulated and designed for distraction and suppressing your humanity and
true desire to simply love and be loved.
These are simply tools in the toolbox of a species.
The real fundamental path of a species is to survive, which means being useful to its own future (and that of its environment, which IS its future). If love and consciousness help, then great, but if they simply enable marketing and consumption to manipulate us and consume the environment, they can as well be abandoned in favor of a sensible reality.... (tooth and claw).
Our consciousness has to do more than be awakened: it has to, in the end, be useful. An imaginary world in the brain of every individual is where we live. That's what consciousness really is: the ability to make a model of the universe and move into it. Civilization is the collective isolation of the group from the risks of reality (to a point). Very rarely are humans intentional within that scope: we are mostly conditioned like trained chickens, but we BELIEVE we are doing things on our own cognizance and making 'Coke vs. Pepsi' choices. That's why marketing has so much power over consumers: we are trained from the get-go to be consumers, not conscious animals. The religions train us to not believe we are animals, and the marketers train us to not be conscious, while teachers train us to believe we are, even when we can't understand basic cause and effect.
Embrace your animal nature: BE the two-legged raccoon you were meant to be.
Love and Consciousness are not why we learned to grow gardens. Survival is.
