We see winter coming on as well Paul. The days are noticeably much shorter than even a few weeks ago. We have nearly finished planting winter crops. From experience we know that anything planted after the first of October can not be counted on.
Still, the weather is much better now than all though Spring and summer.
But we are still busy. We are expecting lambs in the second half of December and soon the cattle will have to come in and then most of our work is feeding and carting away the left overs.

Well. Actually have a harvest moon tonite & we did have to finish picking greens by moonlight for mkt tomorrow morning. Sky clear but for some lightning in the east. Tomatoes are in decline but added to some carrots & greens should make enough. It's also Harvest Festival there this weekend so crowd should pick up. It's a bit sad or disconcerting to me to come to the end of mkt season in Oct.
