An hour east of Abq. No forest around us so not much to burn here, but smoke
in every direction in the distance. No earthquakes, tornadoes, huricanes,
nuclear, fires or floods here. Just late freezes, hot winds constantly,
terrible growing conditions, but we're in much better shape for earlier
markets this year. Our early greens go on ice before they go in the van so
they stay fresh, look fresh & sell fast on 95 afternoons. Peppers, snow peas,
carrots & kohlrabi selling now too & no one else has them yet at the market.
I'll admit snow peas have taken a beating in these hot winds but still
producing.

almost got enough sprinkle to get the ground wet today
