That lovely piece comes from a fanatic fringe website at
http://townhall.com/columnists/starparker/2009/02/09/back_on_uncle_sams_plantation
.
which promotes nothing but 100% partisan attacks from the likes of Ann
Coulter and Thomas Sowell, and promotes the rightwing corporate agenda
against the rest of America.

Besides being completely off topic that perpetuates several obvious myths
used by the elites to keep the rest of us conned into supporting their
ripoffs. It demonizes Carter, Johnson, and Obama - all democrats - with no
mention of Reagan and baby Bush who raised taxes on the middle class, cut
taxes for the rich, and ran up the highest deficits since WW II.

Then the myth of government taking over the economy. It's the opposite as
anyone reading the fine print in all these bills can see. It's Wall Street
and corporations taking over government, outsourcing millions of good jobs,
crashing the economy, and impoverishing the middle class. And the nonsense
about socialism, straight out of Rush Windbag and the brain dead ex-governor
of Alaska who's already raked in twelve million dollars (from wealthy
corporate criminals) propagandizing against government help for the millions
of victims of this corporate engineered recession.

Socialism has been defined as
"An economic system of government which advocates state ownership of the
means of production with equal distribution of goods among the people. In
practice the government owns the banks, railroads, farmlands, factories, and
stores, and is the only employer.”
And no one in the administration ever hinted at such a thing. The windbags on
AM radio and Fox know it; they're just paid to lie.

You really want to kill our Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, VA benefits,
and starve millions? They're all "socialist" programs aren't they???
