Depends on the breed. Some like the Reds will attack no matter when you put them in. We usually don't mix the old with the new unless they are the same basic weight. Then you have to keep watch. Some breeds are very aggressive--bobc
1. OT Chicken question (Tameson)
Hoping someone can help me out here...how old do my new batch of chicks need
to be before I can put them in the coop with the older chickens? They are
currently 7 weeks old now and getting too big for their current coop (rabbit
cage).
