There is no "Monsanto bill".

There is HR 875 which is only one among several bills pending in
agriculture committee, and no bill is ever introduced that gets through
both houses and gets signed without major changes in it. 875 was introduced
by Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D –CT) whose husband once had Monsanto as a
business client. The company has nothing to do with it. This wild story has
been circulating all over the Internet for weeks, and it's getting moldy.
The actual bill said nothing about organic gardening. Go to
organicconsumers.org for more on it.

Text of H.R. 875: Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009 introduced February
4, 2009

Latest Major Action: 4/23/2009 Referred to House subcommittee. Status:
Referred to the Subcommittee on Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry.
