a couple other seed companies that organic-minded people use that also sell
monsanto seeds are Johnny's, Jung's and Gardens Alive.

A couple years ago when this all took place, I called every company that sent
me a catalog. When I ascertained that they sold seminis varieties, I asked to
be taken off their lists. One customer service lady was indignant, telling me
that if SHE didn't know where their seeds came from, there was no way that I
could know. Sheesh.

My problems with Monsanto are deep and wide, including agent orange, anniston
alabama, glyphosates, terminator technology, rBGH, percy schmeiser, dioxins,
etc. GMOs are but another piece of the pie. Safe Seed Pledge, like organic
certification, is somewhat of a marketing ploy.
