You can also use succanat or rapadura - these are whole sugars with the minerals still present not the light colored evaporated cane juice garbage. I know that the rapadura is fair trade organic and I think the organic succanat is fair trade also but I dont have the label here to look at.

I am going to write to Hershey's and Mars and explain why I choose to no longer eat their products! I guess its as good of time as any to completely quit sugar. Agave nectar, honey and maple syrup, here I come.
