Regarding the idea that some produce needn't be
organic to be safe from pesticide residue over looks
the aspect that any crop not considered organic can,
and often is, a GMO.
If corn is not organic you can be very certain that
some if not all of it may be modified, since corn is
one GMO crop that has been extensively developed and
pushed on farmers.
Looking beyond the use of petrochemicals to the origin
of the seed has become of prime importance. Our
species has tried to manipulate nature for our greed
instead of our best interests.
Jim
PS. But, nature bats last.
