A while back I asked the Texas Parks & Wildlife about native pollinators.  Response is below.  I ordered the recommended book, but have not yet received it.

Emitch,

This book should be most helpful:

Pollinator Conservation Handbook
The Xerces Society and The Bee Works. 2003.
The Xerces Society, Portland, OR. 145 pp; 57 color photographs.

Comment or Question:

Given the news about honeybee decline, I'm seeking information
to promote native bees and other pollinators.  Where should I
look for Central Texas information?
