- Subject: [Livingontheland] Mulch materials- silage?
- Date: Tue, 06 Mar 2007 11:41:39 -0600
I have a silo full of old hay/alfalfa silage. I want to use it for mulch around veggies.
Does anybody have experience using partially fermented materials? My soil is alkaline, so I think the acidity would help.
I know it will draw in the worms. They love the stuff.
Any useful comments are welcome.
