I've spent the last couple of days trying to get plotcrop loaded and running.  The author was very helpful and we finally succeeded in overcoming Windows' safeguards.  My initial impression is that it will take a lot of time to learn the program, and  I'm not sure that's the best use of time.  After all, the purpose of a computer program should be to make planning and record keeping faster and more convenient, so you can spend more time with the plants.  I'll invest a few hours (when it's too dark, too cold, or too wet), and let you know if it's helpful with intensive gardening.
