Thanks for sharing the info on calendula! I grew some for the first time this summer, and just love them! I tried them in my hottest spot, under a south facing window. They bloomed until a 22F freeze put them out of commission. It was amazing to see these sunny yellow-orange flowers encased in ice. So far I picked the flower heads, dried them, and saved the petals. I made an infusion with some to help heal an abcess on our kitty.

I can't wait to plant more this spring with the seeds I saved.
