Sustainable ag and organics has grown like
a mushroom in the last 15 years.
These efforts comes from collaborations between
farmers and non-profits and universities.
Auburn Univ in Alabama is holding their
organics/sustainable ag conference in November.

Southern SAWG will hold it's big conference in
January. It is organized by organic farmers and
non-profits in AL, AR, KY, and elsewhere throughout
the South.

I'm not saying it's all rosy, because there's plenty
more that can be done. But if you look around,
there's plenty of programs and people to work with
to help build an ecological agriculture.
Onwards,
Steve Diver
