Bird,

You might want to reread that easement either you or a previous land owner
signed. Here, it's an open invitation to do whatever they want. Don't like
it? Go off-grid.

The electric company is being very nice if they make any concession to your
desires. Once the easement's signed and recorded, it's official. They've
got the right, independent of your wishes. You might do better to be nice to
them. Works around here to avoid spraying.

Another reason to have underground utilities- or be off-grid.
