dang, if we the people don't start to have doubts
about this global warming thing after this summer, we
probably never will get it...

maybe you really can't rest assured that this is just
another "natural cycle" going on,* as the oil & gas
and coal industries would
want you to believe...
anecdotally, i checked the weather last night, and
Minneapolis had 92 degrees AT MIDNIGHT with a heat
index (at midnight) at 100 degrees. Stevens Point, WI
expects a heat index at 110 degrees tomorrow. at
least one local river has stopped flowing, and
numerous wells have run dry in the neighborhood here.
according to a local firefighter, the water table is
said to have dropped 9 feet in the past dozen years on
the east side of Stevens Point.
