Sounds like a good specimen to propagate for a year
or two to see what it could be.

Subject: [OFEX] strawberries Hi, I think my question is for Margie... I retrieved a seedling from the compost in the spring. Not being sure what it was I potted it up, and down the road I figured out it was a strawberry. It was at the single leaf stage when I rescued it, so it took a while to figure this out. It started producing fruit same season, and kept producing into the cold weather. Since it was potted up, had unripe strawberries on it, I brought it inside in November. I figured it would ripen it's fruit and that would be it. The plant would then go into the garage for the winter. Well, it is still flowering inside in December. I assume if I play "bee" it will fruit. My queston... is this normal strawberry behaviour? Thanks, Tom -- ============ -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
