I am not an Instructional Technologist, but I know a few on Twitter. :D

There a few good organizations for Instructional Technology where you
should start.

Educause: http://www.educause.edu/

NITLE: http://www.nitle.org/

And here's a link someone just passed me on some innovative thinking:
http://gamebasedteaching.ning.com/

You could also check with our own Paul Jones, who knows a thing or two
about it. Good luck!

Thomas

P.S. The NITLE folk prefer to prounounce that acronym to rhyme with
"nightly" rather than "title".
