I like Raleigh well enough, and would probably like it even more had I lived closer to downtown.  True, I did live in BFE!!!!!!!  Culture out there consisted of a wild turkey flock stubbornly refusing to move out of the driveway in the morning or the distant sounds of exploding gunpowder during hunting season.

both state entities). a strong parks department, a greenway system
second to none, a lively downtown, relatively low crime, and great
