Stop H1252 by using the list below and call or email. The House Science
and Technology Committee will likely be voting on HB1252 next
Wednesday. We've got one week to put the heat on. Please take 5
minutes and call at least the top four names on the list of this
committee. If you are shy about calling, you can call before or after
regular work hours and leave a message. The Legislative Asst will write
it down and pass it along. " *Hi, I'm (name) from (town). Please tell
Rep. ___ who is on the Science and Technology Committee to vote "NO"
on H1252 - The "Un" Level Playing Field Bill. Vote NO so local NC
communities are not prevented from building the kind of broadband
infrastructure that the industry won't build us; Vote no so North
Carolina communities can use Federal BBND Stimulus Money to build BBND
infrastructure and create JOBS for our state. Thank you" *If you email:
Give the header "Tell Rep ___ VOTE NO ON H1252 - the UNlevel Playing
Field Bill" and you can just type in the above message

[I removed the list of members that was here as the formatting didn't come through. Please click on this link to view a list of committee members and their contact information. - MT]
