Wow - congratulations on being in a position to tell the tale!  What kind of car did you drive? See how much insurance will pay, while checking what a new one will cost. As you have heard, car companies are really dealing. You not be out as much as you think.

Subject: [internetworkers] lawyer recommendation - car accident

Hey guys,

I was in a car accident yesterday late afternoon, on 401, and my 4-month old car
was probably totaled. Apparently the lady driving a big chevy avalanche had a
seizure behind the wheel, hit me full-force, 85mph, then 2 other cars.

Apparently, if the car is indeed considered totaled, I'll be getting a check
from my insurance covering the value of the car yesterday, including the 4-month
depreciation, so I'll have to fight with her insurance to get the difference, so
I can buy the same new car, plus my expenses with a rental, correct? I've never
been in this situation, so I'm not sure.

I may need a lawyer to handle the insurance company negotiation, and was
wondering if any of you would be able to recommend somebody.

Thanks!
Marcia
