I think this whole idea will pretty much be dead on arrival. The Australian public won't stand for it. The ISPs won't be able to implement it successfully (since it's impossible to do right in the first place.) There is an interesting sidebar as some of the IT experts who have come out against the idea in public have gotten threatening phone calls from some of the politicians who are supporting the filtering scheme. That's now spawning an investigation and related controversy...
