Yes, I did try that already. :-) That was the first thing I tried. There's no
red or black button, but the actual breaker for the compressors is on
the outside of the house right next to the unit (separate from the rest
of the breakers). I also checked the switch on the inside part of the
unit that can be tripped if there is a lot of water that comes out of the
unit (we got tripped up on that once when we lived in the DC area) but
the inside unit is actuallyrunning, it's just the outside compressor that's
not.
