Amazingly, I didn't loathe the Hellblazer movie as much as I expected
to, certainly not as badly as I hated V. Obviously they changed a lot
of stuff around, and the "crucifix gun" was like a bad flashback to
Lynch's Dune. Knuckledragging studio suits blather on all the time
about capturing the "spirit" of a work as an excuse for dry-humping
the book, but in the case of Hellblazer I think they got it.
