Seconded (asking them about this, that is).  I would love to pick and choose my cable stations.
 
Which is why I am very interested in the Sirius/XM merger.  They have actually committed to a la carte programming post merger, which makes me... conflicted.  I like the competition but I REALLY like the idea of a la carte programming.

I don't believe that there are any US carriers that sell ala carte cable.

The only way I know of to get ala carte cable is with a C-band (8 foot
diameter) dish. Often referred to as a BUD or Big Ugly Dish.
