How about "ancient history?" Satellites have killed these off. No one uses HF anymore.
The Navy didn't run relay stations, as far as I know: HF and satellite don't need to be relayed. The Navy did have radio listening posts, typically called NSGA stations. Usually they had one of these present, so this page may be a good place to start:
