Sounds like a part found in a gas appliance. These are very easy to
replace. Do it yourself and enjoy several cases of fine beer out of the
money you will save.
Follow the light weight tubing from the part that sits in the pilot light.
Turn the pilot off if it already isn't. At the other end you will find a
threaded nut fitting. Unscrew this fitting and you can remove the whole
thermocouple assembly. Take this to home depot or Lowes, get another just like
it and reverse the procedure. If they don't have the right one, check
RepairClinic.com for the proper part.
